These terms govern your access to and use of VaultCare. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1) Service overview
VaultCare is an offline-first vault for health documents. It allows you to scan, organize, and optionally back up encrypted documents. VaultCare is not a medical provider, and it does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment guidance.
2) Eligibility and acceptable use
- You must follow applicable laws when using the service.
- You may not misuse the service, attempt to bypass security, or access data belonging to other users.
- You remain responsible for the documents and data you store.
3) Accounts and security
You can use VaultCare without creating an account. If you choose to create an account for encrypted backup and sync, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and credentials.
VaultCare is designed so that document contents and sensitive metadata are encrypted on your device before upload. If you lose your vault credentials, we may not be able to recover your data.
4) Subscriptions and billing
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and renewal terms are provided at the time of purchase and may vary by platform. Taxes may apply.
5) Intellectual property
VaultCare and its branding, code, and design are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of VaultCare. You retain ownership of the documents and data you create and store.
6) Service availability and changes
We may update, improve, or change the service over time. While we aim for reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
7) Disclaimers
VaultCare is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaultCare and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
9) Termination and account deletion
You can stop using VaultCare at any time. If you want us to delete your account and the data associated with it, you can submit a request through our public account deletion page.
